Work Experience:
I was an Instructional Assistant at St. Ann in 1st Grade for 1 year. Then, I began teaching 2nd Grade for the past 6 years here at St. Ann.
Teaching Philosophy:
I want each student to leave my classroom every day having learned something, whether it was educational or a simple life lesson. It is important to me that each student feels welcomed, important, smart and loved in my classroom.
Passions and Interests:
My family is the most important thing to me. I am extremely lucky to have such a close knit family and be able to do so many things together all the time. I also love to spend time with my husband, Pearce and our dog, Lola. If I am not with my sister and her twin 3 1/2 year old nieces and 1 year old nephew (my sister her husband and their kiddos luckily live down the street from me!)..then I also love traveling, taking Lola on walks, fashio, interior design and cooking. Watching sports (especially KU and the Chiefs) are also some of my favorites.
