Teaching Philosophy: I want to instill the love of learning, living, and serving others in my students. I believe that building a one-on-one relationship with each of them is the foundation to a successful learning experience. I want to be a witness of Jesus’ love and the growth and formation of youth, rooted in Catholic values. It is necessary for students to make mistakes in order to grow, and my role is to foster their potential and learning styles while modeling what it means to be proactive and reflective always. I strive to bring an open mind and positive attitude to my classroom each day.
Passions and Interests: Hanging out with family, KU basketball, animals (I love the zoo!), getting outside, staying active, and trying new recipes!
Favorite Scripture: “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
