What a wonderful and exciting week we have had at St. Ann Catholic School! It has been filled with faith, fun, and community building! Enjoy this week's Friday Enews.
Happy Thursday! I can't believe that we are already at the end of January! We will begin our kick-off to Catholic Schools Week at the 9 AM Mass on Sunday. Please come and encourage your children to wear their uniforms. I can't wait to see everyone's school spirit!
January weather is definitely beginning to show up and the students have begun to settle into the third quarter. I love walking down the halls and seeing all the new year resolutions! This is such a great time of the year to slow down, evaluate, and renew ourselves.
It's been nice to get back into the routine. I'm excited to see what this second half of the year brings! One special treat this week was having Brother Max Nguyen (pictured above) come in and speak to the 5th and 6th graders about his journey discerning to become a priest.
It has been so wonderful to see our teachers and students back in the swing of things after, what I hope was, a relaxing break with family. Thank you for your patience with our new dismissal process this semester.
We feel so blessed to have spent this Advent season with your children and pray that your Christmas is filled with joy! Please see read this enews for end of December info and changes to be made in 2023.
We have now lit two violet candles on our Advent wreath. I pray for God's strength, as we prepare our hearts for Christmas, to bring us closer to each other and to His Son. Lord, give us the grace and strength we need every day and help us to always trust in you. Come, Lord Jesus, lead all people closer to you!
I pray this blessed season fills everyone's hearts with peace and joy! Even though this time is very busy, don't forget it is also a wonderful opportunity for us to slow down and begin preparing for our Lord's birth. As we move towards Christmas, St. Ann has many opportunities for the students to share their gifts and grow in their faith
St. Ann Catholic School & YCC faculty and staff wishes our families a very Happy Thanksgiving. May each of you enjoy this celebration with your family full of love, laughter and peace.
We are currently on the rise of Flu and RSV season. Unfortunately, pediatric offices, urgent cares, and ER’s are already seeing a surge in the number of children diagnosed with these illness. This time of year, it is always good practice to take extra caution.
Happy Veterans Day! We are so thankful to all that have chosen to be in the armed forces. We were lucky enough to have a few guest service members speak in different grade levels today.
Happy November everyone! We had a great October here at St. Ann. So many awesome things happened over the last month! Just a few of those are: saint presentation, weekly all school rosaries, halloween parties and parade, conferences...
It is hard to believe we are already jumping into second quarter. As many of you know, we use COGNIA for our accreditation process to set continuous improvement goals.
As we approach the colder months, there have been many conversations regarding uniform shorts and pants. We would like to survey both staff and parents regarding this matter and appreciate your feedback.
I hope your families are all able to make our Fall Production of Shrek Jr. next Thursday, October 13th at 1:30pm and 6:30pm. Our middle school students worked incredibly hard to put on an amazing performance with the help of Mr. Trainor, Mrs. Sexton, and many parent volunteers.
We are just TWO days away from our St. Ann Fall Festival Fiesta! Remember to check out BidPal for many exciting auction items! This is our largest fundraiser for our church, school and young child center. Thank you for your generous support!
I had a sweet moment in one of the classrooms this week. One of our friends shared with me his picture of St. Ann. Low and behold, he had written the closing of our prayer that is said at the end of every school day.

Another great week here at St. Ann! I was impressed by how well our choir did at Mass on Wednesday, the 4th graders did an amazing job on their field trip to Ernie Miller, some students challenged Dr. Loveland and me to a game of gaga ball (I'll let you know who wins), and we raised an astounding $1,600.00 for LEMON OUT!
