I had a sweet moment in one of the classrooms this week. One of our friends shared with me his picture of St. Ann. Low and behold, he had written the closing of our prayer that is said at the end of every school day.

Another great week here at St. Ann! I was impressed by how well our choir did at Mass on Wednesday, the 4th graders did an amazing job on their field trip to Ernie Miller, some students challenged Dr. Loveland and me to a game of gaga ball (I'll let you know who wins), and we raised an astounding $1,600.00 for LEMON OUT! I love summer but there is just something about autumn. The cooler mornings, earlier sunsets, and football games. I feel like there is a calmness to this season. I feel the same about this time of year in school. We are settling into a routine, getting to know each other, and there becomes a sense of calmness and predictability.
Thank you for joining us for Back to School Night this week. We all enjoyed being able to come together as a community and start our school year off on a positive note!

What a year! With graduation this week, it has been such a beautiful opportunity to reflect. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your partnership over the past three years, and for trusting our staff with your precious children.
As we continue preparations for next school year, we are thankful to have made some amazing hires. Thank you for joining me as we welcome the following new staff members for the 2022-2023 school year.
It was so special to celebrate First Communion with our second graders this past Sunday. Seeing their joy while receiving the Eucharist for the first time was a reminder of just how lucky we are to have the gift of Christ in our lives each day.
