Mrs. Ludwikoski (Mrs. Lud) has been fortunate to teach in a variety of different classrooms and has worked in early elementary and middle school (science and religion). She grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Portland where she earned a B.S. in Biology. Attracted to an opportunity to teach and to serve after graduating, she joined the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program offered through the University of Notre Dame. It was through the ACE program that she earned her Masters in Education while teaching at an inner-city catholic school in Los Angeles. She spent a few years in Madison, WI teaching kindergarten at St. Maria Goretti before relocating to Kansas City. She left the classroom for 9 years while raising her growing family. During that time, her family moved to Pasco, Washington. It was in WA that she excitedly returned to teaching. She spent a year subbing and a year teaching First Grade in the Pasco School District. This past summer, the Lud family moved back to the Kansas City area and is delighted to be joining the St. Ann community. Mrs. Lud has a great love for working with children and being in a learning space that has the gospel message at its core.
